The application solves a common operational problem: financial data is often scattered across CSV exports, receipt images, PDFs, manual notes, and disconnected account views. Introduction

The product is designed as a working operational tool, not just a prototype interface. Users can sign in, upload financial files, review structured records, inspect receipts, track budget usage, and ask questions in plain language.

How It Works

A user starts by uploading financial inputs such as bank statement CSVs or receipt files. The system saves those files, processes the contents, and converts them into structured records that can be searched, filtered, displayed, and analyzed.

For transactions, the application uses AI to normalize messy CSV rows into consistent transaction fields such as merchant, amount, currency, category, date, type, and description. For receipts, vision and document understanding are used to extract receipt content from images or PDFs and store both raw text and structured data.

Once the data is available, dashboards calculate cashflow, category spending, recent activity, budget usage, and account balances. The chat assistant uses a multi-step AI workflow: it interprets the user's question, selects the right finance service group, calls deterministic backend functions, and then produces an answer based on actual service results.
